Code of Conduct

Classroom Policies

1. You will be given one warning per class to put your phone away. If you continue to use it you will be separated from it for the remainder of class by placing it in a bin on the teachers desk.

2. AirPods will not be in your ear while the teacher is giving a lesson or speaking to the class. You may use them during independent work.

3. If you arrive more than two minutes late to class without a pass, you will be written up for cutting.

4. To use the bathroom you will sign out on a Google Form. 

5. The last five minutes of class will be used to clean up your desk, the floor around you, and straighten out desks and chairs. Students will not be dismissed until this is complete. 

Behavior Expectations

1. Language that discriminates on the basis of race, sex, gender, disability, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated and will result in a write up without warning.

2. Open defiance/arguing with the teacher about these rules during class will result in an automatic write up and removal from the room.

3. You are free to sit in whatever seat you would like, but if negative behavior persists seats will be assigned.

4. Under no circumstances will you sit at or touch anything on the teacher's desk without the teacher telling you to do so.

Procedures and Consequences

1. You will be given one warning for negative behavior.

2. Persistent negative behavior will result in a teacher detention and contact home.

3. Missed teacher detentions and/or open defiance to these rules and procedures during class result in a discipline referral to administration.
