Course Description

Political and Legal Education is a half year elective that provides students with an intense, challenging learning experience about the political realm. Students will study the foundations of American Democracy and the origins of American government. Emphasis is placed on the Constitution and the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democratic society. In addition, the roles of political parties, campaigns and elections, public opinion, and the media will also be addressed.
